Strategic Partnership Manager
We are a leading provider of domestic and international package shipping services that reach millions of addresses nationwide and around the globe. With today's consumer switch to ordering product online there is a large market for business to consumer shipping. We have become a key player in the supply chain network in getting everyday goods to end consumers.
We are currently hiring for a Strategic Partnership Manager. This role will be responsible for creating and nurturing business relationship with key third party software vendors (3PV) in effort to have OSM become an in-network shipper. We offer a competitive base and lucrative commission program. This position is home-based with travel, as needed, to meet with 3PVs. The incumbent must reside in the United States near a major airport for business travel.
Job Responsibilities
- Meet 3PV growth and maintenance targets.
- Facilitate meetings with current 3PV partners and prospects in order to understand integration needs and OSM partnership value.
- Negotiate 3PV pricing with prospects. Work with OSM’s executive team to receive final approval on pricing before sales are final.
- Partner with OSM’s IT Department for integration requirements as well as the implementation team and Customer Success team who share this relationship.
- Communicate new 3PV relationships with internal stakeholders (Sales, Customer Success, and Implementation). Participate in sales process with prospects, as needed, to explain 3PV partnerships.
- Create, improve, and follow the 3PV integration process.
- Update SalesForce with sales activity ensure data integrity.
- Compile and review internal data from OSMART, SalesForce, and Customer Portal to present to 3PVs.
- Actively participate with industry organizations and trade shows to network with potential clients and interact with current clients.
- Coordinate and facilitate regular meetings with 3PV vendors to improve partnership. Identify issues/problems and facilitate resolutions timely.
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university preferred.
- At least five years related experience and/or training required.
- Extensive experience with E-Commerce small parcel shipping.
- At least 3 years’ experience working with 3PV shipping software services.
